In the early 1980s God specifically called me to Russia. To prepare myself, I served as an evangelist and pastor for more than 10 years. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, I was free to fulfill God’s call on my life. I took several short-term missions trips before moving to Moscow, Russia, in 1996. The following year I settled in Tuva, a region of Siberia. I met Heather, an assistant youth pastor, in 1997 while she was on a short-term mission’s trip to Lithuania. We were married in 1998.
Heather and I have a heart for places where no one else wants to go. Many areas of Russia remain untouched by the gospel, and we desire to reach them through any means necessary. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the gospel once.
