Siberian Ministry Center

For three years the Siberian Ministry Center has been in a process of building a new facility in Omsk, Siberia.  With much hard effort and sacrificial giving this project is now complete!

This facility has the capacity to train seven hundred men and women each year in all areas of ministry.  Each session Bible school students involved in the Siberian Theological Seminary gather from all areas of Siberia in this ministry center to be equipped to reach the over 21,000 cities towns and villages in Russia with out a gospel witness.  They choose to live a life of sacrifice in at times -50 degrees weather to see the unsaved come to know Christ.  With the help of BTI partners, Russian laymen and pastors alike now have the opportunity to cost effectively receive biblical education and training they need to minister effectively.

The extension program at the Siberian Theological Seminary allows students to quarterly study in Omsk, Siberia, Russia to receive an Associate or Bachelor of Arts degree while maintaining their full time ministry.  These ministers travel from desolate, far reaching areas such as the center of Asia to receive an education.  After each session the student takes back what he or she has learned and teaches others in their respective areas.  This ministry center is also the headquarters for other extension programs in the Ural Mountains and Central Siberia.

The building itself is a three story construction.  In the basement there is a full service kitchen and dining hall along with storage rooms for evangelism materials and books.  On the first floor are offices and classrooms.  Some of the office space is already rented out to other Christian organizations in the city to offset operational costs.  This, along with rental of the other functions of the building, will make this building completely indigenous and self supported in the next two years.

On the second floor are also classrooms, guest professor housing, and a computer lab.  On the third floor is a student lounge and student housing for eighty students.   This ministry center is not only used to carry out the functions of the Siberian Theological Seminary but will also be used for training seminars for children’s ministry, youth, women’s ministry conferences, and men’s ministry.  In the future this facility will also house a studio used to produce ministry training videos.  These videos will be used to meet the training needs of those in isolated areas of Siberia who may not be able to come to Omsk to receive training.

We thank our supports for your generous support towards the Siberian Ministry Training Center.  We are truly building Spiritual leaders for now and the future.
